Troubleshooting > The bottle

My lace/strap is broken

This issue has been caused by some problems that come from the manufacturing process. They’ve been reported and resolved. We work hard to guarantee the quality of every piece on a REBO bottle, we want you to rest assured that this won’t happen again in the future.

In the meantime, please do not worry 😉 we want you to know that your broken lace is going to be replaced.

You can order a new set 👇

Please fill in the following form:

My bottle is leaking

If your bottle is leaking, this could be because of two reasons:

1. Your rebo has sparkling water in it: Rebo is built for natural water only and we do not recommend filling it with sparkling water as it builds up preasure inside and can lead to leaking. Also be aware that the bottle will make a lot of noise “champagne effect” when opening it when there is sparkling water inside.

2. Your seal is missing/broken/out of place: the rebo bottle has 2 seals, one in the sensor and one in the neck of the bottle. We recomend filling the bottle through the spout to avoid unnecessary opening as the friction and usage of the bottle while opening the cap could lead to normal movement of the seal and also heat which could transform the shape of the seal.

If you need a new seal please contact one of our team members on hello@rebo-bottle.com requesting a new one, add your delivery address to the message and the amount and type of seals you need.

My cap is physically broken

Unfortunately rebo does not cover accidental damage, if you believe this may not be your case please contact us on hello@rebo-bottle.com.

1. Empty your bottle
2. Make sure the sensor is clean and free of water droplets as this could interefere with the measuring.
3. Place your bottle on a flat surface
4. Open and close the cap to trigger a measure

If your bottle doesn't show 0% then follow this next steps:

5. Open your rebo app and go to settings

My cap is not flashing anymore

Please follow the next steps to RESET your bottle correctly.

You could follow STEP 3 on the video demonstration we have created for you on the this link

1) Make sure your rebo is fully charged
2) Make sure the bluetooth is on
3) Plug your REBO using a USB-C cable connected to power
4) When you see the orange LED light, turn REBO upside down (keeping the cable still connected) the bottle must be in a strictly 90 degree angle with the cap facing down and the cable still connected.
5) Tap firmly with your finger tips or knuckles in the center of the LED ring (while the bottle is still upside down) until you see the LED ring turning purple and flashing twice. Make sure you are not inclining the bottle when you do this otherwise it won't work. If the light doesn't turn purple after 2 taps, keep tapping continuously with your knuckles until it does.
6) Unplug your REBO
7) Open the REBO App and click on "Connect bottle"
8) If an error message comes up, simply plug your bottle to the power for a second and unplug right after, then click connect bottle. Make sure you UNPLUG your bottle before clicking connect, otherwise the app won't recognize it.
