My lace/strap is broken

This issue has been caused by some problems that come from the manufacturing process. They’ve been reported and resolved. We work hard to guarantee the quality of every piece on a REBO bottle, we want you to rest assured that this won’t happen again in the future.

My bottle is leaking

If your bottle is leaking, this could be because of two reasons:

1. Your rebo has sparkling water in it: Rebo is built for natural water only and we do not recommend filling it with sparkling water as it builds up preasure inside and can lead to leaking. Also be aware that the bottle will make a lot of noise “champagne effect” when opening it when there is sparkling water inside.

2. Your seal is missing/broken/out of place: the rebo bottle has 2 seals, one in the sensor and one in the neck of the bottle. We recomend filling the bottle through the spout to avoid unnecessary opening as the friction and usage of the bottle while opening the cap could lead to normal movement of the seal and also heat which could transform the shape of the seal.

My cap is physically broken

My bottle is not measuring correctly the water level

To calibrate your bottle simply go to Settings and click on "Calibrate bottle" and follow the steps on the screen.

Please know that the bottle uses a time of flight sensor to measure the distance between the cap and the level of water inside the bottle. Despite having selected one of the best sensors on the market, this has a tolerance level of approximately +- 50ml.

We have designed the firmware of the bottle accordingly, so that it does not record small events which could be related to the tolerance of the sensor. This evens out with the use as only the big events are be recorded. For this reason we recommend to use the bottle with a complete refill and then drink to the end so that this works well.

In small words, some little sips might not be recorded immediately but they will update with the next bigger sip.

My cap is not flashing anymore

Please follow the next steps to RESET your bottle correctly.


1) Make sure your rebo is charged

2) Make sure the Bluetooth is on

3) Plug your REBO using a USB-C cable connected to power

4) Turn REBO upside down (keeping the cable still connected) the bottle must be in a strictly 90-degree angle with the cap facing down.

5) Continuously tap, firmly, with your knuckles in the centre of the LED ring (while the bottle is still upside down) until you see the LED ring turning purple and flashing twice. Make sure you are not inclining the bottle when you do this otherwise, it won't work. 

6) Unplug your REBO

7) Open the REBO App and click on "Connect bottle"

8) If an error message comes up, RESTART your bottle by plugging it and unplugging it from the power and try to connect again.

It is possible that your bottle doesn't flash purple if it has already been disconnected (RESET). If you still can't connect please contact one of our team members at hello@rebo-bottle.com
